Abstract In this paper, a 2D angle amplifier based on peristrophic multiplexed volume Bragg gratings is designed and prepared, in which calculation method firstly proposed to optimize the number of channels minimum. The induction multiplexing reduces performance difference one bulk grating, whereas there no need deliberately fabrication process. It revealed that discrete deflection range ±30° obtained relative diffraction efficiency all grating reaches more than 55% with root-mean-square deviation less 3.4% same grating. incidence exit angles from expected values 0.07°. believed has potential realize high-performance large-angle beam steering high-power laser scanning systems.
